Oui, c’est ça

This is a fun blog with cartoons, songs and much more. La bande desinée is something that French people take very seriously and if you’re a serious French learner, so should you. The ones on the blog will make you laugh:

Chansons FLE

This is a very musical kind of blog. And it does what it says on the cover: ‘Juste des videoclips et des paroles pour apprendre le français’. Watch music videos and read the lyrics – sounds fun! I really like this one:

Comme une Française

This blog has some very useful tips, including how to do dating in France. Géraldine, the author of the blog, also has a YouTube channel with over one hundred videos on topics ranging from how to sound French even to the French, to how to scare a French person. One of my favourites is this one, on how to swear in French without being rude:

France Bienvenue

This is a really cool blog with lots of different videos of authentic conversions taken directly from real life. You can hear a six-year-old talk about her school, a candidate talk about why she wants to be a volunteer, and a bodybuilder talk about his passion for exercise. The videos are helpfully accompanied by transcripts so you can easily follow what you can hear.

Learn French with Jennifer

This blog contains a lot of video tutorials discussing mainly tricky grammar points and vocabulary. In her videos, Jennifer talks about topics such as how to use the verbs aller and pouvoir, or when to use the passé composé. Her blog posts cover subjects such as how to better understand spoken French.

Français avec Pierre

This is another blog with lots of video tutorials. Pierre will teach you how to pronounce unpronounceable words, such as cueilli and exagération. The blog also contains audio files, such as one where Pierre explains how to use colloquial French expressions such as c’est pas mal.
